AT&T says that its HSPA+ network will cover almost 250 million people by the end of this year. Engadget reports that at a Reuters event, AT&T Operations CEO John Stankey made the claim and also said that AT&T will double its 7.2Mbps speed limit on the current HSPA network. This comes on the heels of T-Mobile's statement that the smaller carrier's HSPA+ coverage will reach close to 185 million potential users.
